OPPO Reno 16T Price in Pakistan (Expected 2027)
The OPPO Reno 16T is official in China: launched on 28 September 2026 at CNY 3,699 (about $520) for 12GB/256GB and CNY 4,499 for 16GB/512GB, it packs a compact 6.32-inch 120Hz AMOLED, MediaTek's Dimensity 8550 Super, a 200MP OIS main camera with a 50MP telephoto and 50MP ultrawide, a 6,700mAh battery with 80W charging and IP66/68/69/69K protection. OPPO Pakistan has not announced it. The Reno 16 and Reno 16F reached Pakistan on 31 August 2026, three months after their China debut, so the Reno 16T is expected here around late December 2026 or early 2027 at roughly Rs 150,000–165,000. Pakistani prices on this page are estimates.

Quick Summary
Expected Price in Pakistan
All figures are expected estimates based on import/PTA cost trends — not official Apple prices. Prices may change after the official launch.
| Variant | Expected Non-PTA | Expected PTA Approved | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| OPPO Reno 16T 12GB/256GB (expected) | Rs 120,000 – Rs 132,000 | Rs 150,000 – Rs 165,000 | Expected |
| OPPO Reno 16T 16GB/512GB (expected) | Rs 135,000 – Rs 150,000 | Rs 170,000 – Rs 185,000 | Expected |
Pakistani prices are estimates, not OPPO Pakistan or PTA figures. They anchor to the official China prices (CNY 3,699 / 4,499 ≈ Rs 145,000 / 176,000 at face value), to OPPO Pakistan's official Reno 16 (Rs 199,999) and Reno 16F (Rs 149,999) launch prices of 31 August 2026, and to Pakistani tech media’s Rs 154,999 projection. OPPO sells officially in Pakistan with PTA included and local warranty, so compare against the official column; the non-PTA column is a China-ROM grey-import reference only.
Official (September 2026): what OPPO launched in China
OPPO launched the Reno 16T in China on 28 September 2026 at CNY 3,699 for 12GB/256GB and CNY 4,499 for 16GB/512GB, slotting a compact model into the Reno 16 family. The headline is the size: a 6.32-inch FHD+ AMOLED at 120Hz (up to 1,800 nits) in a body only 72.4mm wide and 188–191g — unusual in a segment that has gone to 6.7-inch screens.
Inside is MediaTek's Dimensity 8550 Super, and the camera is the Reno line's best at this price: a 200MP main sensor with OIS, a 50MP telephoto with 3.5x optical zoom (up to 120x digital) and a 50MP ultrawide, with a 50MP selfie camera. The battery is a 6,700mAh cell with 80W wired charging, and the phone carries IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings. It runs ColorOS on China units and comes in Heartbeat, Galaxy Purple and Moonlight Black.
OPPO has said nothing about a global or Indian launch. The Reno 16 and Reno 16 Pro launched in China on 29 May 2026, went global on 25 June–3 July, and reached Pakistan on 31 August — a three-month lag that is the basis of our expected timeline.
How much will the OPPO Reno 16T cost in Pakistan?
OPPO Pakistan launched the Reno 16 at Rs 199,999 and the Reno 16F at Rs 149,999 on 31 August 2026. The 16T sits between them in China (CNY 3,699 is above the 16F's class and below the 16's), so we expect Rs 150,000–165,000 for 12GB/256GB and Rs 170,000–185,000 for 16GB/512GB if and when OPPO Pakistan brings it in — in line with Pakistani tech media’s Rs 154,999 projection. Estimates, not OPPO figures.
Until then, any Reno 16T in Pakistan is a China-ROM grey import (ColorOS China build, limited Google services out of the box, no local warranty). At roughly Rs 120,000–140,000 non-PTA plus Rs 35,000–55,000 PTA tax (estimates), it offers little real saving over official stock — and official stock is the better buy for daily use.
Want a Reno today? The official Reno 16 and Reno 16F are on sale now, and a used Reno 15 or Reno 14 on Mehfoz costs far less — browse used OPPO Reno phones in Faisalabad, every listing inspectable before you pay.
OPPO Reno 16T Non-PTA vs PTA / official price
A non-PTA Reno 16T is the cheapest sticker, but a Pakistani SIM works only for about a 60-day grace period before DIRBS blocks it, after which the PTA tax is due. A China-ROM unit also needs its ROM checked — shops often flash global ROMs, which affects updates and warranty claims.
For daily use, official OPPO Pakistan stock or an already PTA-approved unit is the sensible choice: permanent SIM use, warranty and better resale. See PTA-approved phones in Faisalabad and our PTA compliance guide.
Always verify the IMEI on the official DIRBS portal before paying — on Mehfoz, PTA status is declared on every listing, and a Mehfoz inspection checks the ROM type along with the hardware.
OPPO Reno 16T launch timeline
29 May 2026: Reno 16 and Reno 16 Pro launched in China. 25 June – 3 July 2026: Reno 16 series global launch (Europe, India, UK, Indonesia, Thailand). 31 August 2026: Reno 16 and Reno 16F launched in Pakistan at Rs 199,999 and Rs 149,999. 28 September 2026 (official): Reno 16T launched in China.
Late December 2026 / early 2027 (expected): Pakistan launch, if OPPO repeats the Reno 16's three-month lag — not announced. Mid-2027 (expected): first used units on Pakistani markets.
Expected availability: Pakistan, Dubai, Saudi Arabia, UK and USA
China (official): on sale since 28 September 2026. Pakistan (expected): not announced; OPPO brought the Reno 16 and 16F here within three months, so a launch is plausible but not guaranteed — OPPO sometimes keeps T models China-only. Dubai / Saudi Arabia (expected): only if a global version is announced; Gulf-bought units are non-PTA in Pakistan until registered.
India: OPPO has not announced an Indian launch. UK / USA: the Reno line has limited UK retail and no US presence, so any unit there is an import.
Who should buy the Reno 16T, who should skip, who should wait?
Buy if you want a genuinely compact phone that does not compromise — a 6.32-inch screen with a 6,700mAh battery, a 200MP camera and a real telephoto is a rare combination, and the IP69K rating adds peace of mind.
Skip if you prefer a big screen: the official Reno 16 (6.7-inch class) is already on sale at Rs 199,999, and the Reno 16F at Rs 149,999 is the budget pick. Wait for official OPPO Pakistan stock rather than paying a China-ROM premium — the saving disappears after PTA tax and the warranty is lost.
Expected resale value and future price history in Pakistan
OPPO Renos hold value moderately well in Pakistan thanks to brand demand. Based on the Reno 14/15/16 pattern, an official Reno 16T is estimated to retain roughly 65–75% of its price after 6 months, 50–60% after 1 year and 35–45% after 2 years. Estimates, not guarantees; China-ROM and non-PTA units fare worse.
No Pakistani price history exists yet — after launch this section will track the Reno 16T's official, market and used prices. When you upgrade, sell your current phone on Mehfoz with verified PTA status.
How we researched this guide (editorial note)
Specifications and China prices come from OPPO's 28 September 2026 launch as reported by the international tech press. The Pakistan expectation uses OPPO Pakistan's official Reno 16 / 16F launch (31 August 2026, Rs 199,999 / Rs 149,999) and Pakistani tech media’s timeline and price projection. Confidence: high on specifications and China pricing; low on the Pakistan date, which OPPO has not announced; lowest on exact pricing. Last reviewed by the Mehfoz editorial team on 15 October 2026.

PTA Tax — What Pakistani Buyers Should Know
- A non-PTA OPPO Reno 16T will run a Pakistani SIM only for about a 60-day traveller grace period, then the SIM is blocked until PTA tax is paid.
- Upper mid-range imports face an expected Rs 35,000–55,000 PTA tax on CNIC (estimate) — which is why official OPPO Pakistan stock usually costs the same or less in total.
- OPPO sells officially in Pakistan with local warranty — official stock is PTA-included; a China-ROM import has no local warranty.
- PTA/FBR tax slabs change over time — verify the live figure on the official DIRBS portal before paying.
- Always confirm whether a quoted price is PTA-paid or non-PTA — see PTA-approved phones in Faisalabad.
Final PTA tax for any model should be verified from official PTA/FBR sources once available. We do not claim official PTA tax for unreleased models.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the expected OPPO Reno 16T price in Pakistan?+
Around Rs 150,000–165,000 for 12GB/256GB and Rs 170,000–185,000 for 16GB/512GB, official PTA-included stock (estimates anchored to China’s CNY 3,699 / 4,499 and OPPO Pakistan’s Reno 16 at Rs 199,999 and Reno 16F at Rs 149,999). OPPO Pakistan has not announced a price.
When will the OPPO Reno 16T launch in Pakistan?+
Not announced. It launched in China on 28 September 2026 with no global date. The Reno 16 and 16F took three months to reach Pakistan (31 August 2026), so late December 2026 or early 2027 is the expectation — but OPPO sometimes keeps T models China-only.
What are the OPPO Reno 16T specifications?+
A compact 6.32-inch FHD+ AMOLED at 120Hz, the MediaTek Dimensity 8550 Super, 12GB/256GB or 16GB/512GB, a 200MP OIS main camera with a 50MP 3.5x telephoto and a 50MP ultrawide, a 50MP selfie camera, a 6,700mAh battery with 80W charging, and IP66/IP68/IP69/IP69K protection.
Is the Reno 16T a flagship?+
It is upper mid-range: a Dimensity 8550 Super rather than a flagship Dimensity 9600 or Snapdragon 8 Elite, but with a camera system, battery and build that match pricier phones. Its real distinction is being compact.
How much will the Reno 16T PTA tax be?+
Official OPPO Pakistan stock includes PTA, so nothing extra. For an imported unit, phones in this band currently face roughly Rs 35,000–55,000 on CNIC (estimate) — check the DIRBS portal for the live figure.
Reno 16T or Reno 16 — which should I buy?+
The Reno 16 is on sale now at Rs 199,999 with a bigger screen; the Reno 16T is the compact alternative with a bigger battery and a telephoto at a lower expected price — but it is not here yet. If you want a Reno today, the Reno 16 or the Rs 149,999 Reno 16F are the official options.
What is a China-ROM OPPO and does it matter?+
Early imports run ColorOS’s China build with limited Google services; shops often flash global ROMs, which affects updates and warranty claims. Confirm ROM type before paying, or wait for official OPPO Pakistan stock.
Is a used OPPO Reno a good buy in Faisalabad?+
Yes — Renos sell steadily on the used market, so clean PTA-approved Reno 14 and Reno 15 units are common. Get the battery and screen inspected before paying; every Mehfoz listing can be inspected and bought with protection on eligible deals.
What will the Reno 16T resale value be?+
Based on previous Renos, roughly 65–75% of its price after six months, 50–60% after a year and 35–45% after two years for an official unit. Estimates only; China-ROM and non-PTA units resell for less.
Can I buy a used OPPO Reno 16T on Mehfoz?+
Yes — once it launches here and early buyers resell, used Reno 16T listings will appear on Mehfoz with verified PTA status, optional physical inspection and buyer protection on eligible deals.
