1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Mehfoz platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, and continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Mehfoz. By using the Service, you represent that you are at least 18 years old, have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts, are not prohibited from using the Service under applicable laws, and will use the Service only for lawful purposes.
3. Account Registration
To access certain features, you must register an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration, maintain the security of your account credentials, accept responsibility for all activities under your account, notify us immediately of any unauthorized access, and not create multiple accounts to bypass restrictions. Mehfoz reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
4. User Conduct
You agree NOT to: post fake, misleading, or fraudulent listings; use the platform for illegal activities; harass, abuse, or harm other users; share inappropriate or offensive content; circumvent platform fees by communicating off-platform; attempt to hack, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the Service; create false accounts or impersonate others; or violate any applicable Pakistani or international laws.
5. Listings and Transactions
Sellers are responsible for the accuracy of their listings. Mehfoz does not own the items listed and acts as a facilitator between buyers and sellers. All transactions are between buyer and seller. We strongly recommend using Buyer Protection and Inspection services for safer transactions. Mehfoz reserves the right to remove any listing that violates our policies.
6. Fees and Payments
Listing on Mehfoz is free. We charge: 1% buyer protection fee (paid by buyer at checkout, refundable if transaction fails), Rs 1,000 inspection service fee (paid upfront, non-refundable for completed inspections). A delivery fee covers Mehfoz's delivery coordination, tracking support, and proof-of-delivery handling for protected deals; delivery availability and method may vary by city and order. All fees are clearly disclosed before purchase. We use trusted third-party payment processors and never store your full payment details.
7. Buyer Protection Terms
When you choose Buyer Protection: your payment is held in Mehfoz Protected Deals until you confirm receipt; you have 48 hours from delivery to inspect and confirm or report issues; if no issue is reported within 48 hours, Mehfoz reviews the order and releases payment to the seller; refunds are processed within 24 hours of approval; we mediate disputes fairly based on evidence; and false dispute claims will affect your account standing.
8. Inspection Service Terms
Inspection service is provided by Mehfoz certified technicians. The Rs 1,000 fee is non-refundable for completed inspections. Reports are advisory; final purchase decision is yours. We are not liable for issues discovered after purchase if you proceeded against inspection findings. Inspector findings are based on physical examination and software diagnostics at time of inspection.
9. Intellectual Property
The Mehfoz Service, including its design, code, content, logos, and trademarks, is owned by Fastly (Private) Limited and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission. User-generated content (listings, photos, reviews) remains your property, but you grant Mehfoz a license to use it for operating the Service.
10. Limitation of Liability
Mehfoz is provided as is without warranties. We are not liable for: actions of buyers or sellers on the platform, lost profits or business opportunities, indirect or consequential damages, or issues with phones purchased outside our protection services. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the specific transaction in question.
11. Dispute Resolution
Disputes between users are first mediated by Mehfoz support team. We review evidence including listing details, chat logs, photos, and shipping records. Decisions are final and binding for issues within Mehfoz Protected transactions. For unresolved disputes, parties may pursue legal remedies under Pakistani law. The courts of Faisalabad have exclusive jurisdiction.
12. Account Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account for: violation of these terms, fraudulent activity, repeated negative reviews or disputes, posting prohibited content, or extended inactivity. You may delete your account anytime through profile settings. Upon termination, you lose access to all platform features, but transaction records are retained as required by law.
13. Changes to Service
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any legal action arising from these Terms must be brought in the courts of Faisalabad, Punjab. You waive any objection to the jurisdiction of these courts.
