What to check on a used Galaxy S22 Ultra
A few quick checks separate a great buy from a costly mistake — spend a few minutes on these before you pay.
- ✓Battery health — ask for the exact percentage; a tired battery is the most common hidden cost on a used phone.
- ✓Condition varies here — 1 of the 18 Galaxy S22 Ultra listings is graded fair or poor, so read the grade and the photos before you travel.
- ✓Cameras, fingerprint and charging — test every lens, the fingerprint or face unlock, and the charging port.
- ✓IMEI and PTA — 2 of these 18 listings are non-PTA, so check which one you are looking at: dial *#06# and verify on the official PTA DIRBS portal or via 8484.
- ✓Accounts — make sure it is signed out of the previous owner’s Google account and factory reset.

Compare several live listings on Mehfoz, factor in battery health and any PTA tax, and you will quickly see what a fair deal looks like for the exact spec you want.
PTA vs non-PTA Galaxy S22 Ultra
Of the 18 Galaxy S22 Ultra listings in Faisalabad right now, 16 are PTA approved and 2 are non-PTA — which is most of the price gap you will see between two otherwise similar phones. A PTA approved Galaxy S22 Ultra works on Jazz, Zong, Telenor and Ufone with no SIM block and is easier to resell. A non-PTA unit is cheaper up front but needs DIRBS tax to stay usable on your SIM beyond the grace period — verify the IMEI on the official PTA DIRBS portal and add any likely tax before deciding which is genuinely cheaper.
